VESTAS will attend the first R-energy Exhibition in Argentina
Vestas, world's pioneering company in the wind power sector (www.vestas.com) will participate, from 10th to 12th June, in the first International Exhibition on Renewable Energy in Buenos Aires.
The company, leader in the renewable energy sector, will offer in the R-Energy exhibition in Argentina, the latest systems in modern energy and the most efficient wind power solutions. Vestas is currently the world´s first provider which offers modern energy solutions and a referent in the installation of aerogenerators around the five continents. ÂThe current outlook encourages inhabitants from all around the world to use new energy forms. The important increase in energy consumption demands a sustainable source that does not produce any more greenhouse gases, contamination or waste to future generations.
Wind power is a renewable energy source which is predicable and clean. It is possible to quickly generate significant energy capacity offering the independence of the energy requested by the most important and increasing economies in the world. For this reason, Vestas considers that wind power is modern energy: it is the appropriate response to the challenges we are facing.
Vestas´ experience in Energy goes beyond aerogenerators; its main focus is planning, installation, operation and maintenance. As an independent expert partner, Vestas will provide in the R-Energy exhibition in Argentina, always as an independent provider, special advising to its clients about development, financing and operation of wind projects.
Vestas´ experience in the development of Wind power
Vestas has been operating in the Latin-American market since 1992 through its subsidiary Vestas Latinoamérica & Caribe in Buenos Aires, which is in charge of all the sales operations and maintenance for the projects to be installed in Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Uruguay and different areas of the Caribbean. With a 23% market share, Vestas is the biggest provider of modern energy solutions. It has installed more than 33,500 aerogenerators in 63 countries around the five continents. Vestas started its production of aerogenerators in 1979 and, ever since, has played a fundamental role in the increasing wind power industry. The importance of wind power has increased to the point of going from being alternative energy to now a large-scale reliable energy source, which is integrated in the energy mix together with petrol and gas.
Currently, Vestas is expecting the wind industry to produce, at least, 10% of the global energy production for 2020.
